The first Paddy Foley's pub quiz of 2008 was held on Saturday Jan 26th with a special top prize of ¥30,000 available to the winning team. As always our pub quizes are tremendous fun and a good test of players knowledge of the world. Questions ranged from naming the dog breeds, soldiers and sailors, music and movies, fairies and fables, general knowledge, take-away foods and a mixed variety round. Now an established monthly event enjoyed by our customers, the pub quiz is a great way to have a night out with friends and meet new people with the chance of winning great prizes. Up to 6 people per team are allowed with only a ¥500 per person entrance fee. 

In this new Year pub quiz, the winners and 2nd placed teams came from the Onnabelievables (Ladies) Football Club (Captain Tess - the Lady in RED in photos below) and 3rd placed team came from the Japan GAA led by our one and only Emily Ward (Left photo 0002). Well done to the winning teams and to all who helped make it a great night's entertainment.

Forthcoming pub quizes will be held on the last Thursday of every month unless otherwise stated. All are welcome to take part!
